Description

Green grapes (Vitis vinifera) are crisp, juicy fruits with pale green to yellow-green skins and a sweet, mildly tart flavor. Varieties range from small, delicate Thompson Seedless grapes to larger, exceptionally crisp table grapes with varying levels of sweetness and acidity. Green grape skins provide flavan-3-ols, flavonols, hydroxycinnamic acids, proanthocyanidins, and other polyphenols, while the fruit also provides vitamin K1. Green grapes are delicious eaten fresh and can be added to salads, grain bowls, yogurt, chicken salad, fruit salads, and cheese boards or frozen for an easy cold snack.
