These colorful steak fajita bowls bring together tender slices of seasoned top sirloin, roasted sweet potatoes, roasted peppers and onions, crisp romaine lettuce, and creamy guacamole for a flavorful, protein-rich meal. Top sirloin is a relatively lean cut of beef that cooks quickly and works especially well with the bold spices and fresh flavors of fajitas. The combination of colorful vegetables, leafy greens, avocado, and sweet potatoes also provides an array of fiber, carotenoids, polyphenols, and other protective plant compounds. Serve everything in individual bowls with fresh cilantro and lime wedges for an easy weeknight dinner. For this recipe, look for a salt-free fajita seasoning made only with herbs and spices. If using a blend that contains salt, greatly reduce the sea salt added to both the steak and sweet potatoes.
