I grow two varieties of blackberries in my garden. During the month of July, I always have so many of them! Baking them into cakes and muffins is a great way to incorporate these antioxidant-rich berries into your diet. You can also add fresh blackberries to salads and smoothies! These blackberry muffins are made with nutrient-dense oat flour—a source of prebiotics to feed beneficial gut microbes!

2½ teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoons fine sea salt

I love the flavor & texture of these muffins - and they are so easy to make! Everyone else in my family loves them too. I cut the sugar in half and found them to be sweet enough. I keep extras in the freezer, and cut them in half and put them in the toaster oven (then slather with almond butter). Delish! During pollen season these low-histamine treats are delicious survival food!
