Poaching fresh berries is a wonderful way to use up some of the bountiful summer berry harvest! Use poached berries to top plain coconut milk yogurt, Homemade Creme Fraîche, Whipped Coconut Cream, plain Greek yogurt. Other types of berries can be used instead of the blackberries. Try small fresh strawberries, marionberries, or raspberries.

This is an absolute favorite! Vanilla powder was a new ingredient for me, and now it is a favorite! These are delicious with yogurt, with dry curd cheese or just plain. I'm sure they'd be delicious served over a gluten free cake of some sort too, depending on your diet, but they are good on their own in a small bowl too! They are SO good, I know I would feel proud to serve them as a dessert for company. You must try them! I've made them substituting all different berries and combinations too, most often strawberries and blueberries.
