Serve this fresh and flavorful salad during fig season! If you don't like goat cheese, simply omit it or replace it with crumbled feta cheese. This salad pairs well with roasted chicken or baked salmon.

Ingredients

Salad

5 ounces baby arugula
1 large pink grapefruit peeled and sectioned
½ medium sweet onion thinly sliced
½ pints fresh figs quartered
½ cups raw almonds roasted and chopped
2 ounces soft goat cheese crumbled

Dressing

4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoons raw honey
¼ teaspoons sea salt
