Serve this nutrient-dense and quick to prepare turkey hash with a spoonful of raw sauerkraut, broccoli sprouts, and avocado for an energizing breakfast. Rutabagas are a cruciferous root vegetable and a great replacement for sweet potatoes or potatoes on special diets.

Ingredients
1 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 small onions diced
2 medium rutabaga peeled and diced
1 pounds ground turkey
1 teaspoons dried sage
1 teaspoons sea salt
¼ cups chopped parsley

It is amazingly good for how simple it is. I used ground chicken as ground turkey is not available in my area. As a child, I was averse to rutabaga but this root vegetable is enjoyable in the recipes on this sight. I’m even inspired to grow them in the garden this summer!
