ANTI-INFLAMMATORY BAKED TURKEY MEATBALLS-2

These tender, flavorful turkey meatballs are a simple staple to keep on hand for healing, anti-inflammatory meals. Made with cooked rice and grated carrots, they’re light yet satisfying and completely egg-free, nut-free, and gluten-free. Serve them with the Ginger-Lime Green Glow Sauce for a bright, detox-supportive meal, or drop them into simmering homemade chicken broth with loads of fresh greens for an easy, restorative soup. Make a triple batch and freeze them to pull out anytime you need a quick, nourishing weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
1 pounds ground turkey
1 cups cooked white basmati rice (still warm)
½ cups grated carrots
2 green onions minced
2 tablespoons minced cilantro
1 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
½ teaspoons sea salt
½ teaspoons turmeric powder

I love this recipe for a quick meal for one of more that is low in histamine. Best part is the meatballs can be frozen (before cooking) and used in jiff when prepping a meal is not within your time frame. I sometimes add 1/2 tsp of ground cumin to the recipe.
