When you don't have much time to prepare dinner, make fried rice! Any type of leftover cooked rice can be used in this recipe such as black rice, long grain brown rice, or white jasmine rice! Ground chicken or pork can replace the ground turkey as well! Several whisked eggs can be added to the fried rice for added protein if desired.

Ingredients
2 tablespoons avocado oil
1 pounds ground turkey
½ teaspoons Chinese 5 spice powder
½ teaspoons black pepper
1 small onions diced
2 medium carrots diced
2 teaspoons finely grated fresh ginger
4 cloves garlic crushed
1 cups frozen peas
4 cups cooked white jasmine rice
3 tablespoons wheat-free tamari
2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
3 green onions thinly sliced
