These cozy little muffins are perfect paired with a hot cup of spice tea on a chilly winter day. Serve them as a healthy treat on Christmas morning or as part of a spring brunch. I like them best topped with the Dairy-Free Cream Cheese Frosting recipe. 

Ingredients

½ cups raw walnuts
½ cups medjool dates pitted
1 tablespoons coconut oil (or organic butter)
3 teaspoons cinnamon
¼ cups coconut sugar (optional)

Wet Ingredients

6 eggs
¼ cups unsweetened applesauce
¼ cups raw honey (or maple syrup)
¼ cups melted coconut oil (or organic butter)

Dry Ingredients

½ cups coconut flour
1 teaspoons baking soda
¼ teaspoons sea salt
