If you have an Instant Pot you can easily cook multiple sugar pie pumpkins in it in just minutes! This pie recipe tastes so much better using freshly cooked sugar pie pumpkins or butternut squash! Canned pumpkin does work, but the flavors don't even compare to freshly baked pumpkin!

Ingredients

1 cups blanched almond flour (lightly packed)
1 cups arrowroot powder
¼ teaspoons sea salt
4½ tablespoons butter (or organic shortening)

Filling

1¾ cups cooked sugar pie pumpkin (or 1 can)
½ cups maple syrup
½ cups cashew cream (or raw heavy cream)
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons arrowroot powder
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
