When you have a few bananas that have ripened too much, make banana bread! This recipe is moist and delicious and will satisfy any chocolate cravings! If you'd like more chocolate, add about a ½ cup of dark chocolate chips to the batter before baking.

Chocolate Banana Bread (gluten-free, dairy-free, xanthan-free)

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

1¾ cups teff flour
¼ cups tapioca flour
6 tablespoons cacao powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoons baking soda
½ teaspoons sea salt

Wet Ingredients

2 tablespoons ground chia seeds
¼ cups warm water
1½ cups mashed bananas (about 4 large ripe bananas)
¾ cups coconut sugar
½ cups melted coconut oil
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Optional Additions

chopped raw walnuts
