Chocolate Banana Iced Nut Cream
Frozen bananas can create the creamiest dairy-free ice cream! Whenever our bananas are getting too ripe I peel them and freeze them whole in large containers. This way we always have a supply for smoothies and sweet treats like this recipe! Serve with sliced bananas and raw cacao nibs.
To freeze ripe bananas, first peel them, and then place them onto a cookie sheet into your freezer. Plan for about 6 to 12 hours to fully freeze the bananas before making this recipe.
½ cups raw cashews
¼ cups water
¼ cups maple syrup
3 large frozen bananas broken into chunks
2 tablespoons cacao powder
½ teaspoons raw vanilla powder
