Serve individual bowls of fruit or make a large fruit salad with these festive winter fruits....perfect for a holiday breakfast or brunch! If you are making this for your breakfast you really do need to eat a large bowl to fill up. Adding a whole, small avocado to each bowl helps with satiation. Choose whatever fruit and nuts you have on hand or follow my recipe below. My almost-4-year old twin boys don't do too well with just fruit and nuts for breakfast so I like to serve fruit bowls along with scrambled eggs or homemade breakfast sausages for them.
