Serve these tasty and nutritious treats to children for an after-school snack. They are also great to take with you on a camping or hiking trip. 

3 tablespoons coconut oil (plus extra for greasing the pan)
1 cups brown rice syrup (or coconut nectar)
¾ cups creamy roasted almond butter (or unsalted peanut butter)
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
6 cups crispy brown rice cereal

Optional Additions

¼ cups hemp seeds
½ cups pumpkin seeds (or sunflower seeds)

Optional Topping

¾ cups dark chocolate chips
2 tablespoons coconut oil
