This gluten-free and dairy-free one pot meal can be made in minutes! This recipe is great if you are just beginning a gluten- and dairy-free diet, and don't have much time to prepare healthy meals. Serve it with a simple green lettuce salad and a homemade salad dressing such as this simple Balsamic Vinaigrette. I prefer to use extra-lean, pasture-raised ground beef for my family as it is lower in fat and higher in protein. Additionally, the fats in pasture-raised beef are more anti-inflammatory compared to conventional grain-fed beef. 

1 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 small onions diced
1 pounds ground beef
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
½ teaspoons sea salt
½ teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
2½ cups marinara sauce
1½ cups cashew milk
1 cups water
12 ounces brown rice penne pasta


4 tablespoons chopped parsley
