These grain and veggie bowls are great to prep in the morning before you head out for the day with your children, whether to the beach, mountains, or parks. Just pack individual servings in glass containers and put them into a small cooler. They also make a wonderful lunchbox main dish for your child!

4 cups cooked short grain brown rice
½ medium heads red cabbage thinly sliced
2 large carrots grated
1 large cucumbers sliced


16 ounces extra firm tofu cubed
2 tablespoons wheat-free tamari
1 tablespoons avocado oil

Ginger-Sunbutter Sauce

½ cups sunflower seed butter
½ cups water
2 tablespoons wheat-free tamari
2 tablespoons brown rice vinegar
2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoons very finely grated fresh ginger


4 tablespoons snipped fresh chives
4 teaspoons black sesame seeds
