Basic Black Beans
Black beans are great when added to salads, soups or chilis or used as a filling for burritos, enchiladas, or quesadillas.
Soak beans in a bowl of water at room temperature for 8 to 24 hours prior to cooking. Rinse and drain before cooking.
1 cups black beans (soaked for 8 to 24 hours)
½ teaspoons kosher salt
