Preparation Note

You'll need several cups of cooked and cooled black rice for this recipe. Up to 8 hours ahead of time, cook 2 cups of black rice and let it cool completely. Directions for cooking black rice can be found here.

1 pounds ground turkey
¾ teaspoons sea salt
1 inches fresh ginger finely grated
4 green onions sliced
3 cups thinly sliced green cabbage
2 cups cooked black rice
½ cups chopped cilantro
