This easy grilling recipe can be served as a party appetizer or a main dish. If serving for dinner, I like to complement this dish with a bowlful of steamed kale, steamed green beans, or a Cabbage and Fennel Slaw. A small amount of antioxidant-rich black rice is another wonderful addition if your diet allows grains. 

Ingredients

Chicken

1½ pounds boneless chicken breasts sliced into cutlets
1 large lemons juiced (about 4 to 5 tablespoons)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
4 cloves garlic crushed
2 teaspoons turmeric powder
1 teaspoons sea salt
¼ cups minced cilantro

Carrots

1 bunches carrots washed
1 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoons lemon juice
¼ teaspoons sea salt
